I met Hilary when I was working at Kent County Council completing a gap year placement and our project together is still the best event I ever worked on. Hilary was sailing around the UK which I thought was one of the most incredible things I had ever seen. 

Hilary did not let her disability rule her, she was so determined and I never forgot her. 

I am truly thankful to have met such an inspirational person and I hope that anyone who faces difficulty in their lives can face it in the same way she did.
